Canadian Pacific Steamships agent’s stubs.

1 stub : b&w ; for passage on the ‘Empress of Asia’; a Canadian Pacific Ocean Services steamship. The stub has passengers’ names and ages listed in a rectangular box in the bottom left corner. It reads, “NAME / AGE / Mr. Lim Yuen A. / Mrs. Lim Tom She A. / Master Lim Fung See 5 / Master Lim Bak Fun 23 mos. / Master Lim Bak Chee 18 Mos / Master Lim Bak Sang 8 mos. / Full Fare / Two / Half Fare / One / Infants / Three.”
The top of the stub shows an image of a large vessel amongst water. Text surrounding the vessel reads, “CPOS / TRANS-PACIFIC TRANS-ATLANTIC / CANADIAN PACIFIC OCEAN SERVICES LIMITED.” The top of the stub has text that reads, “Agent’s Stub—Not Good for Passage / Form P 18 / 15015.” Below the image of the vessel is a form part of the stub that has information filled in. It reads, “Berth Whole Room 409 War Tax Collected $16.00 Amount $ 350.00 / This ticket is good for THIRD CLASS passage of Six persons named below / FROM Vancouver, B.C. TO Hong Kong, Chine. / in the Company’s SS. “Empress of Asia”, or in any other that may be substituted, / Sailing December 1st 1928 / Agent [signature] / At Vancouver, B.C. / Date Issued November 29th 1928 / Exchange Com. 350.00 / 17.50 / 332.50 / 16.00 / 348.50 / Local Cur. / Dep. / Net.”
