Description: 

1 floor plan : b&w ; for an apartment building at the Tashme Japanese internment camp located near Hope, BC. The building is rectangular in shape and shows a stairwell on the left and right sides, and two stairwells at the bottom. Each stairwell is labelled with an arrow and text that reads, "STEPS." Above the building is text that reads, "APARTMENT / 2ND FLOOR (B )" There is a small vertical rectangle at each top corner that has text in it that reads, "SINKS." The top of the building reads, "COMMUINTY KITCHEN / 10-12 STOVES," below this it says, "OPEN AREA." There are multiple horizontal rectangles down the left and right sides of the building. The ones on the left read (from top to bottom), "SONODA B - 21 / SHINMOTO B - 19 / TANAKA B - 17 / OKAMURA / TAKAHASHI B - 15 / AKAMOTO B - 13 / HALL / W.R. / W.R. / YUKAWA B - 9 / SATO B - 7 / OSAKA B - 5 / HORI B - 3 / TAGUCHI B - 1." The rectangles on the right (from top to bottom) read, "WOODBOX / B - 20 KAWAI / B - 18 MISUMI / B - 16 NISHIMURA / B - 14 KOJIMA / B - 12 HIDAKA / B - 10 WAKABAYASHI / B - 8 / B - 6 EBESUZAKI / B - 4 SHIRAKAWA / B - 2 NAKANO."
