1 photograph : b&w ; of the H.M.S. Rainbow [large ship in the centre?] and the Komagata Maru [large ship on the right?] in the Vancouver Harbour. There are many smaller ships visible in the water surrounding the two ships. Beyond the H.M.S. Rainbow is a forested coast. There is a large ship smoke billowing out of its smokestack docked at a pier on the left side of the image. The photograph has an inscribed caption that reads, "Scene in Vancouver Harbor[sic] on July 21. 1914 / H.M.S. Rainbow called to aid in deporting Hindus on board S.S. Komagata Maru." The photograph is signed to the left of the caption. It reads, "Photogr. by / W. J. Moore / 812P."
