Description: 

1 cartoon : b&w ; of a political cartoon that featured in the February 26, 1913 issue of the Grain Growers' Guide. The cartoon features a mustachioed man wearing a tuxedo standing and holding a card over a woman. The woman is kneeling and has her hands held up in front of her with her palms facing the ground. There is text beside the man's mouth that reads, "SPEAK!" The card he is holding has text visible that reads, "VOTES / FOR / WOMEN." The woman is wearing a long dress with a bowtie. 

The cartoon has a caption at the bottom that reads, "At the last session of the Saskatchewan Legislature Premier Scott expressed himself as in favor / of extending the franchise to women, but did not care to enact the necessary legislation / until the women of Saskatchewan asked for it. It is now up to the women to "SPEAK" in clear and unmistakable terms."
