Please join us for the opening of a new exhibition Please join us for the opening of a new exhibition, 'Marriages and Migration: A Transnational Story of BC' at the historic Gur Sikh Temple in Abbotsford, BC on July 22nd from 1-3pm. The exhibit aims to tell the history of transnational marriages in Abbotsford’s Panjabi Sikh community using photographs from the Del Monte collection.
The City of Abbotsford will also be unveiling commemorative signage and announcing the renaming of a section of South Fraser Way in honour of the Komagata Maru tragedy.
On July 1st, the Paldi Khalsa Diwan Society hosted On July 1st, the Paldi Khalsa Diwan Society hosted a grand opening of the Paldi Historical Museum (located in the Paldi gurdwara) as part of the community's annual Jor Mela. 
The museum is now open to the public, so please drop in for a visit if you're in the area!
